Why Krav & Cub

Krav & Cub is more than just a martial arts program—it’s a powerful way for parents and children to bond, grow, and train together.

  • Learn self-defense side-by-side in a collaborative, supportive format
  • Faster learning curve than traditional kids-only martial arts classes
  • Ideal for kids who struggle in group settings due to shyness, sensory sensitivity, or neurodiversity
  • Families can train anytime, anywhere, at their own pace
  • Strengthens trust, communication, and shared achievement between parent and child

How The Program is built

The Krav & Cub program is structured around belt levels, like a traditional martial arts curriculum—

Common Pain Points

“I want my child to start martial arts, but I don’t know which style or school to choose.”
Parents often feel overwhelmed by the number of martial arts options—karate, BJJ, taekwondo, Krav Maga—and unsure which one fits their child’s needs, temperament, or learning style. They worry about committing time and money to the wrong program.

“My child is being bullied, and I want to give them tools to protect themselves.”

Many parents feel helpless when their child is targeted at school or in social environments. They want to empower their child with confidence and real-world self-defense skills—but in a way that’s also emotionally safe and supportive.

“My kid struggles in group settings and gets left behind in big classes.”

Some children are shy, neurodivergent, or sensitive to loud environments. Traditional martial arts schools can feel intimidating or overstimulating, making it hard for these kids to thrive.

“We want to spend more quality time together as a family.”

Between busy schedules, school, and screen time, it’s hard to find meaningful activities that bring parents and kids closer. Families crave connection, fun, and shared purpose.

“There’s no good martial arts school near us, or the classes don’t fit our schedule.”

Access to high-quality instruction can be limited by geography, work hours, or transportation. Parents want flexibility without sacrificing effectiveness.

“I’m not sure my child will stick with it—I want a way to ease them in.”

Committing to a long-term program can feel risky if the child isn’t confident or consistent. Parents want a gentle, engaging introduction that sets a positive foundation.

Testimonials

Hear directly from parents who’ve experienced the Krav & Cub program.
They share how training alongside their children has helped build stronger family bonds, boost their kids’ confidence, and create a shared sense of purpose through learning self-defense together.

The Story Behind Krav & Cub

Since my son was very young, I started playing with him using martial arts elements. It was fun, but it also supported his development—improving coordination, focus, and determination.

When he turned 8, I enrolled him in another instructor’s class, thinking it would be healthier for him to train under someone else. But eventually, Omer came to me and asked to train with me again—he wanted to be with his friends who were all training in my classes. He continued with me from that point on and became one of the best students I’ve ever had.

I believe his early exposure to martial arts—through play and bonding—gave him a robust foundation that helped him shine not only in martial arts, but in life. Today, he’s thriving as a software engineer with a degree from UCLA.

This experience led me to create a program that enables other parents to train with their children, to bond deeply, and to help their kids grow into resilient, focused individuals. That program is Krav & Cub.
