Krav & Cub (Parent & Child)
Krav Zone programs for kids & Teens
In this program, parent and child will practice Krav Maga and spend great bonding time together.
Program info
Family Self-Defense System; Parent trains directly with their child during practice sessions. This family Self Defense program includes workout sessions to learn basic maneuvers, and light contact is required. Similar to the kid's program, the main goal is to help the self-development of children while allowing parents to take an active part in that growth. This program offers a great way for parents to bond with their children by finding some common ground, enjoying precious one-on-one time, and developing a healthy interest/hobby together.

The Method
We designed a special learning system that is based on drill and games; while the parent directly coaches his kid, we give him/her guidance to improve the child’s performance, how to correct him in a positive and effective way, and how to give help when needed. We also switch roles in many drills and give the child the opportunity to lead the drill. That way the child becomes more confident and has more fun, seeing his parent practicing equally with him.

Variety of Techniques
We only teach our students techniques that work! We teach a wide range of techniques (stand-up long range and close, clinch, and grappling) to make our students well rounded, and it makes our classes more interesting and develops all aspects of their physical abilities.
All of our games and drills have a technical purpose and contribute to the martial art skills gained by the young martial artists.
From Master Shlomi Katz:
“The unique nature of the Kids program at KravZone comes from my Master, who holds a Ph.D. in Kids Physical Education and is a leading authority in the Wingate Institute, Israel’s National Center for Physical Education and Sports. I have endlessly refined this program through the vast number of kids I have instructed over the years. Many of my students that started with this program continued to learn and train individually in martial arts and have gone on to win various competitions.”
